    f) Protect your hair even as you sleep. Small changes and/or additions to your bedtime fashion can benefit your hair and maintain a healthy hair. Silk or satin sheets and pillow cases are great because they won’t strip your hair of moisture as absorbent cottons and linens may. Their smooth surfaces will also provide enough slip so as to not cause too much friction which can be damaging to your hair. Silk scarfs, durags and bonnets are great alternatives as well. So tuck your hair in.
